Today we went off to Bateshwar, Uttar Pradesh. A beautiful village on the banks of Yamuna. Bejeweled with 101 temples of Shiva which are almost a millennium old, this temple complex remains aloof for most of the year. Although it does rise to its glory at the time of the fair which consists of both religious activities and livestock trade.

On today’s ride, we covered in excess of 350 kilometers, making it the longest breakfast ride we have ever done. It will be unfair rather, to call it a breakfast ride. I think we should call such rides the Brunch rides with the scope of being renamed to Brunchinner rides if the situation calls for it.

Overall, had a lot of fun. Totally the kind of Sunday I look forward to and I think all riders in the group wait for.
